THURDAY
Maggie, Colt, Beverly and I played 'Monopoly' today. Jo's sister watched.
Then, when that was over, Maggie and I did our daily chores and Colt went out with my Walking Stick and my Cross to get the mail. He reported that the trip had been uneventful. There was a LOT of VERY important intelligence in the mail today. My friend from the Phillippines finally responded to me on MeWe. His response had been delayed due to the Zombie Apocalypse.
Steve told me he was actually getting a lot out of the Book of Mormon and Bible today. He comes over here to watch TV on my laptop with us (or by himself when the rest of us are busy), take showers and get his laundry done by Maggie in her washtubs with her powdered detergent, and to eat hot meals, because he has no power or utilities at his apartment. Maggie gave him some Halogen lanterns to light up his apartment at nighttime. Steve also drinks our Coke, and we taught him to never, never answer the front door, ever.
The other day, Stephanie, his daughter came over with some supplies for her father, and I let her in. She's tough, that one. Her new boyfriend and her have many stories to tell.
Maggie made us a VERY good dinner tonight.

FRIDAY
I went out, stepping carefully over downed power lines and avoiding rubble, today, to go check on my friend Rick. He's doing very well for himself. Along the way home, I fought six Zombies, two of whom were in biting distance, but I fought them manfully, for God teacheth my hands to war. Then, when I got home, I got the mail. We got even more vital intelligence today.
These walkers are fast. You cannot outrun them.
Goodnight.

SATURDAY
There is a Survivalist Network out there, and people I know are both involved in it and benefit from it.
The trip to the mailbox was uneventful, except for the fact that I saw a HUGE explosion in the distance, ahead of me, as I was about to carry the mail in.
I prayed a lot today.
Most of my phone contacts don't work. I was able to contact Howard Cozart, who is doing good out there in this crazy topsy-turvy world, he and his wife. Also the Brotherton's fare well. And so does the Nunn family and Joey Hammonds and his wife. On Telegram (TG) Ben McLean reported that he is surviving and adapting, as well as his parents, brothers and sisters. Some others of my Church Brethren and Sistern are in the valley of God's Divine protection and provision that I know about. But not all have made it. These are the times that try men's souls. The summer Saint, the at ease in Zion, shall fall by the wayside. And today there is a heavy snow. Steve is sleeping with us tonight because we have heat.

LORD'S DAY
Today Maggie and I and Colt went out with two walkingsticks (Maggie had returned my old walking stick to me that I'd left at her house in October of 2021) and a Cross and two shovels and we buried all of Steve and our trash in the backyard of the apartment house. Bobbie came out of her apartment and had us bury her trash too. I was frankly surprised that she had survived all this. She was surprised that I was married and she said it was good to see Colt again, and that he was sober and off cigarettes. Bobbie and I hugged.
Later, after all the trash was buried, I called Paul Ludy and asked him to come perform administrations at our house. Maggie was a little under the weather, and Colt was a little sick too, and I needed spiritual guidance, advice and direction.
About two hours later Paul and Dee came over, and they announced they were here by calling me, and I let them in. They were carrying crosses and walking sticks. They had arrived in their car, which I could see had gore on it from ploughing over Zombies, and scratches and dents from running roadblocks. Paul administered to all of us and we had a very long cottage meeting and a worship service. I told him how he could baptize Colt and Maggie and Jo's sister and Beverly, who all now greatly desired it, and had him read the Didache to confirm my words. He went apart from us to pray about it, then got some water and baptized all of them. He gave them all Book of Mormons and Sealed Book of Mormons Doctrine and Covenantses, Inspired Versions and Endowment books by Earl Curry. I asked him if he'd been reconfirmed. He said yes he and Dee had. I asked him if he could do one more cottage meeting so the bunch could understand the Gospel enough in order to be confirmed, and then confirm them and serve us communion using blessed DOLE juice and bread from my fridge, blessed. He said he could only serve us on a New Moon, which it was not. But he would do everything else and return on a New Moon with Kosher wine, fresh baked bread and a Common Cup. Then he taught them (and I learned a lot too!) and confirmed each one.
Goodnight.

MONDAY
March 28, after 10:38 PM is the next New Moon! That's tomorrow.
We all wait with eager anticipation.
We all prayed for one hour together that Paul and Dee would make it safely here tomorrow night and that Pastor Pete, Bobbie, Steve, Rick and the others would be saved in the Kingdom of God.
Jo's sister told Pastor Pete about the sweet, sweet Gospel of God in her simple way over the phone today. He seemed more convinced by her childlike faith than he ever had been by all my intellectual arguments and 'witnessing'.
Today, our labors seemed light as we awaited our first Communion tomorrow night.
I got the mail today without incident.
At 10 PM there was a lot of pounding on our door and more shouts of 'open the $%#! door!'.
At 1 AM it stopped.
We binged more DuckTales, read more fanfics and watched more Clone Wars today.
Goodnight.

TUESDAY
Today, Colt, Beverly and I played Yahtzee after our chores were done.
Then Maggie, Colt and I binged Clone Wars.
Then we all fasted supper.
Then at 10:38 PM on the button, a knock.
"Who is it?" I asked softly.
"It's Paul." Came the reply.
I opened, and Paul and Dee entered.
With reverence, we all observed the Communion Ceremony, all partaking sweetly and joyously, exulting, exalting, and remembering the sufferings of Our Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Afterward, Paul preached a sermon to us and Steve, who observed, but did not partake of, our Communion. Afterwards, Steve requested Baptism and Confirmation, and Paul suffered him. Then he served Steve Communion last of all.
Afterwards, Paul gave Steve a copy of the Scriptures including the SBOM, and some other Restoration books and materials. I gave him some too from my collection. He thanked us.
Goodnight. I'm very sleepy.

WEDNESDAY
Paul and Dee came over again at 7 PM today and we had a prayer and testimony meeting.
Afterwards, Dee gave me a piano lesson on my keyboard, encouraging me to learn the notes. After they left, I practiced for a whole hour with my piano headphones on so as not to disturb Bobbie's or anyone else's sleep. Now I'm going to bed.

THURSDAY
I started teaching Colt how to play the piano today using Alfred's basic piano couse book 1. Then Jo's sister, who had observed the lesson and last night's lesson with great interest, desired for me to start teaching her next.
Steve then put on a ventriloquist's dummy act for all of us, then gave me my second fiddle lesson today.
I got the mail without incident. I relayed an important piece of information from today's mail to one of my active phone contacts.

FRIDAY
I read more of 'The Coming Economic Armageddon' today. Money is useless these days. Everything we get is from bartering or trade, or it is just given to us by the Network. Every so often one of their agents gives us things which Maggie bravely brings in. Sometimes we hear machinegun fire. Sometimes we hear tremendously loud explosions. When I got my mail today a Chinese soldier tried stopping me but I held up my hands and recited and personalized Psalm 91 loudly out loud all the way to my mailbox, and back to my apartment. He never fired a shot.
Later Rick visited us. He called first, so I knew he was coming. I was surprised he could call me because I could not get a hold of him ever since this whole war started. We all witnessed to him of the fullness of the fulllness of the Gospel and when we left he said he'd read the books I had let him borrow (570 AD, the Book of Mormon, etc) and we wished him Godspeed, and we spent twenty minutes praying for his safe return home, until he called me and told me he was safe in doors.
Then Colt, Maggie and I started on Revenge of the Sith, then we watched the rest of Clone Wars Season 7. Maggie as visibly stunned by what happened to Anakin. We watched the first episode of The Bad Batch, Aftermath, before retiring for the night. Colt really liked it. Maggie said it could have been better.

SABBATH
All of us quietly and joyfully observed the Sabbath today.
We all studied the Sealed Book of Mormon. At the end of the day, we all watched 'The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd' on YouTube as a group. We all loved it. Steve watched it with us.
