FRIDAY
When I woke up around 1 AM, my phone needed to install one of those nefarious updates, so I installed it, then it "optimized my Apps" then I started Diary 91.
I did not end up either using my laptop or reading Last Full Measure at Rick's. After he dropped his trash off and picked his mail up, he dropped me off at my home.
My cat Gandalf has not used his catbox since I cleaned it out and changed the litter and freshened it, several hours ago.
The wind is really starting to pick up. The chimes out on the front porch are going crazy.
At Rick's, I had listened to music, eaten off-brand cheetos and a dark chocolate square, taken home some beef stew in a pouch, watched Animal Vets in Mexico on TV (they plied their services for free for the Mexicans), and listened to part of 'The Full Blessing of Pentecost' by Andrew Murray, a book I have read before.
When I got home, I went straight to bed for a while.
4:07 PM I was at home when I heard clearly and distinctly 'Tornado Warning' over the town crier. It was difficult getting Rick to leave his house, and Rick and I picked up Cindy, and we came to Pastor Pete's church. We talked to Pete and Denita here, then they left. Turns out there is a High Wind Warning in this area until 7 PM. Cindy saw hail at her place and heard the thunder go -pop- -pop- -pop- -pop- . I saw heavy rain earlier. At the same time Pete said he saw no rain. I saw no hail. When Rick left his house he heard wind that sounded to him loud as a freight train.
I called and left Beverly a message. We saw thunderhead clouds all around.
Rick asked me to go spot and I did and there is a very strong wind blowing from the West.
I'm showing Cindy and Rick/streaming on The Crew, The Phantom Menace.
The movie is inspiring a lot of conversation about other movies and shows and cartoons, war and family.
4:43 There is still a fairly high wind from the West, but the clouds have calmed down, and a man told me the wind might pick up.
We all checked, and we're going to McDonald's. We're not going to worry about it anymore.
5:59 We are out at McDonald's. Cindy thought of it first, then I spoke her thought. I finished showing/streaming TPM, then S1X1 of Andor. Now I will continue S6 of The Clone Wars. I had already finished S5.
I had a McChicken, lots and lots of fries, and a Sundae and pop.
I will not be going to Pastor Pete's church next Wednesday because that day they are taking Communion there.
Well, I watched the Fives arc. It was very good.

When I woke up this morning, I read from a digital copy of Joseph Smith the Prophet and his Progenitors by Lucy Mack Smith his mother, then slept some more, then got up, fed my cat and ate Honey Nut O's for breakfast after I prayed and meditated, then I called Pastor Pete and left him a message, telling him I had a night of victory and slept all night, and that I took my pills yesterday. Then I set up my pills in their pillbox. Then I wrote in my journal.
There is a lot of journal material I still want to type. It will take a long time.
I went to the library yesterday and turned in The Last Jedi Cross Sections and renewed Sherlock Holmes The Patchwork Devil by Cavan Scott. The library has a new policy that you can renew books one more time than normal.
Yesterday, Pastor Pete took me to Lee's Summit where we picked up chairs. They were in the backyard of a HUGE mansion.
Pastor Pete did my laundry yesterday. I watched the Season 6 Clovis/Banking Clan Arc of The Clone Wars at his house, on Disney +.
I bought a whole bunch of books on Play Books, then deleted them two nights ago.
I also bought, for 5.00 apiece, 10.00 worth of books at the local bookstore, which I thought were good books, but I threw them in the dumpster.
If you do something in your own strength, then you have to maintain it in your own strength. God isn't going to bless it.
God wants us to rest by taking everything to him. He wants us to rest in the midst of the storm as he did.
I have about 20.00 on my Visa Netspend Card. I need that to pay for Disney+. I have 15.00 CHCOH.
I haven't been going to the convenience store to the convenience store to get snacks lately in the last several days.
I went shopping the other day. Della took me. She also bought me catlitter. A couple days later, when I got my allowance, I walked up to Taco Bell after putting 40.00 on my Netspend card, then ate a Chalupa and KFC steakfries and two cups of Pepsi there for lunch, then walked up to Walmart and bought a large bag of Meow Mix catfood, which I brought home with the assistance of Gordon, Della's husband. Gordon drove me and my catfood to my house.
My cat has used the litterbox a lot since I cleaned it out thoroughly.
Yesterday, I let the cat out during the high winds as Steve and I were sitting out on the front porch. My cat looked out the front of my front porch, excited, flicking his tail back and forth. When he tried to go off my front porch, I brought him back onto it.
One of the best ways to bring the cat in is with a treat. Shake the bag.
Or sometimes I just carry him in.
Or call him.
Or close and open the door until he races in.
I got a care package.
I got socks, shavers, healing cream, toothpaste, a toothbrush, sope, dishsoap and more! I let my cat play with the paper sack the care package came in.
Now I'm eating tater tots, garden vegetable rice and cream of celery soup.
I didn't like it.
I'm about to get my laptop out and type all this.
I made a YouTube video calling out to Maggie Savoie to come over.
I'm taking a nap as Mike Matei plays and reacts to 1991 Action 52 games in the background.
2:18 PM I switched Mike Matei to the Book of Daniel KJV audiobook.
5:02 PM I started listening to Waiting On God, a Devotional by Rev. Andrew Murray from Aneko Press (and stopped listening at 5:57 PM CDT) after Daniel was over, and just got up. I ought to eat a Beef pot pie for supper, testing its internal temperature for food safety with my food thermometer, and take my pills, fish oil and coconut oil.
I asked God to strip me of all knowledge but what he wanted me to know, and to give me every blessing He intended for me to have, "like rivers of water running in the streets".
5:52 PM CDT I put my clean laundry away and then took a good, hot shower, then made my bed somewhat, then called for a ride to my appointment with Brooks tomorrow and for a ride to Church in an hour, at 6:40. Then I took my pills, fish oil and coconut oil, then started cooking my beef pot pie. At 6:02 PM my food is done. I'm putting my shoes on, then temping my food, then eating.
My food was too cool in the middle so I cooked it for another minute and a half, then it was hot enough all over internally.
Pastor Pete called. He can't give me a ride to Independence tomorrow.
We ought to patiently wait expectantly for the answers to our prayers and petitions to God.
My food is eaten.
I'm going to Church.
I turned my heat off yesterday, but it's no where near hot enough for my air conditioner yet.
Paul Ludy will be here soon to give me a ride to Church.
6:43 PM He is here.
6:54 PM CDT I'm at Church.
8:10 Von is giving me a ride to McDonald's, where my friends are going tonight I have socks to pick up during our time of fellowship.
8:26 PM I'm having Sprite; Jo's sister is having Diet Dr. Pepper and Paul Jo's brother is having Unsweet tea.
Rick, Bobbie and Cindy are here too.
Jo's sister, Paul and I are sitting together. Rick, Bobbie, and Cindy are at the other table.
I'm having a Fanta Orange.
Rick ordered something for me: A surprise.
11:32 PM CDT The surprise was a McChicken and a Medium fry. Then he bought me a rainbow journal and 100% coacoa Dark Chocolate bar at Walmart. Rick and Cindy got groceries.
Paul Ludy may be taking me to my Med doctor's apartment tomorrow at 10:20 A.M.
