For The Cause of Zion

This web page was blank, and I’m a writer, so it bothered me. I have never met Brother Mauricio Berger, but I’ve read his story many times and from more than one source. Nor do I know the saints in Independence, Missouri, but I have kept close watch on The Cause of Zion website to get any crumb of information about further happenings – not only the words on the page, but the spirit behind those words. So I think I can put words on this blank page that will serve the purpose of filling it now, and I think they might clarify the whole situation too.

We already know this, but it won’t hurt to say it again. Prophets – like all men, are subject to the same influences as the rest of us. Joseph F. Smith will attest to this. And when any person or group of people has potential for good, satan will be working hard to influence according to his destructive plan. The greater the potential for good, the harder satan works. And satan is the great pretender – an expert at mimicking the good spirit of his enemy, Jesus Christ. Would that a desire to serve the Lord God could completely shield us from the influence of the adversary, but this is not the case. The spiritual condition of God’s people everywhere is evidence of that. For people who really desire truth, seeking it is not about being error free. It’s not about being better than the other guy or girl. It’s not about who is right and who is wrong. It’s not about finger-pointing blame. It’s not about winning a fight. It is about understanding, it is about repenting, and it’s about stamina.

So, I’ll tell what I understand of Mauricio’s story, using one of the versions found online as a guide for dates and sequence and portions from other sources too. You, the reader, should envision a man who wants to do right by God, but by his own admission has made mistakes, and once he understood his error, tried and tried again. Stamina. May he be protected and blessed by his Heavenly Father and the guidance of our redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Brother Mauricio A. Berger lives in Brazil in the southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul. I have found that state on a map of Brazil, and I have found all the names of locations in the story below – Caxias do Sul, Santa Maria, and Agudo, where Mauricio grew up, but I have not found Monte Agudo where the angel Moroni first appeared. But, I myself live amongst many mountains, and I know that we locals have names for mountains, hills, valleys, creeks and rivers that are not on any map. Because I believe the story below, I must assume this is the case with Monte Agudo.

Mauricio first lived in the small town of Agudo. There weren’t a lot of churches there to choose from, but apparently there was spiritual influence from his father and probably the Lord Himself that set him on a path seeking God’s truth.







It is said that as a child he experienced end-time dreams and visions that tormented him. Perhaps his father spoke of the last days, and as with all children, it had a great effect on Mauricio, or perhaps God was preparing him even as a young child for a burden he would carry as an adult. But this situation began a quest for explanation of what was happening, spiritually, to Mauricio. As Mauricio grew older he was touched and influenced by outside institutions and organizations. One was a Franciscan Catholic Monastery; another was the church of Jehovah’s Witnesses; another was the LDS church.







At the monastery, he was surprised that he seemed to understand the Bible better than the monks. He even convinced one monk to leave Catholicism, and he did too.

The Jehovah Witness group felt that Mauricio would not be relieved of the bad dreams until he was baptized by them. So Mauricio became a Witness. When he was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness, he had to move to the town of Santa Maria, and he was there three or four years. While there he saw some LDS missionaries and ended up with a Book of Mormon of course which must have contained Joseph Smith’s own story. He was so impressed with the way Joseph Junior went to the grove to pray for guidance that he found a grove near where he lived and did the same thing, being certain God would answer him.

That was when he first met an angel named Raphael and he was given some words of instruction and told to wait for more which he would receive in the future. At that point, Mauricio left the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Joined the LDS church, because that’s who he got the Book of Mormon from. As an LDS member, he married an LDS young woman, but because the Witnesses had encouraged him to drop out of school, he had to embark on the task of supporting a family with little formal education. In our land here, sometimes formal education can kill spiritual discernment, so that may have been a good thing.

At the time of his marriage, he looked for whatever work he could find, and eventually, in 2006, he had the opportunity to do vender-like work at a mall in the city of Caxias do Sul. To do this, he had to leave his wife and child behind for six months. When he was able to arrange it, he closed the mall one night and traveled to Santa Maria to bring his family to their new home. On this journey, as he passed by Agudo where he grew up, he grew sleepy, and since he felt safe near his home town, he pulled off the road for a nap.

It was then, after eight years that the angel Raphael appeared again. It was the morning of April 6, 2007. In the dark of early morning, he followed Raphael up the steep hill of Monte Agudo, and Raphael lit the way for him by making light rubbing his hands together. Mauricio was left there for a time, and he prayed to understand what was going on. That was when an angel named Moroni appeared wrapped in very bright light. Moroni did some explaining, and then gave Mauricio some golden plates and a sword. Mauricio had read the Book of Mormon. He was not at a loss as to what these things were. He was handling the plates of Mormon and the sword of Laban. Moroni also gave him information about another church, the RLDS church, and he told about the land of Zion, the temple lot, and impressed Mauricio with their importance. As I recall, it is said that Moroni helped Mauricio carry those plates back down the hill.

Mauricio then left the LDS church, but in doing so, he told them about the golden plates and his visit with Moroni. Mauricio was excommunicated and told that only the LDS prophet could translate those plates. Somehow Mauricio believed this, and he actually wanted the prophet of the LDS church to go up Monte Agudo and be a witness there.

In February of 2008, he went up Agudo again accompanied by Joni Batista, and two LDS friends named Jader and Sergio, and they witnessed heavenly hosts. While there, Mauricio asked Moroni if the LDS prophet Gordon B. Hinkley could accompany him as a witness, and he was told that Gordon B. Hinkley had died.

On December 12, 2009 Mauricio and family left home for a family gathering in another town. While gone, Mauricio was given a warning. He returned home, took the plates and sword from where he kept them in his attic and carefully buried them somewhere in the ground outside. Then he returned to the family gathering. That night, Mauricio’s apartment was broken into, in an apparent search, leaving the apartment in a huge mess, and leaving Mauricio discouraged. He wanted to quit, and felt dismayed and betrayed. That night he gathered his family and told them they would have to leave their home to find a safer place. It was then that across the street in some woods where he had visited with Raphael previously, he and his wife saw lights appear. Mauricio knew what this meant; he had seen those lights before. His wife stayed on the porch and Mauricio went to investigate. Not Raphael this time, but instead Moroni was there. Moroni introduced him to several prophets of the past. Mauricio was encouraged to never give up.

On December 22, 2009, when Mauricio turned 33, again he went up Monte Agudo with two of the same men as before – Jader and Joni. He had the promise from Moroni that he would receive a special “celestial” blessing. Mauricio went up part way and met Raphael. There he and Raphael disappeared, leaving the other two men on the hillside. Those two men estimated his absence lasted about 40 minutes. They said a light appeared above them – in their words, “like a portal.” Mauricio says he must have been taken to Enoch’s city of old in heaven.

Mauricio’s apartment then became a high security place with a huge iron entrance gate. One Sunday evening, as some of them were gathered to worship, there was a knock on the door. He opened it and thought he recognized a man as someone from past experience called Peter. But the man corrected him, saying his name was not Peter, and he blessed the home at that time. Then he with two other personages taught the importance of honoring the Sabbath and keeping it holy – a requirement for living in Zion. Months later, the same three returned to say the same about the sacrament. Somehow these individuals were able to get past the high security gate unnoticed.

Before that, I assume in the former residence, at 3:00 in the morning, a phone call woke them. It was a neighbor warning them that someone was trying to break into their home. They called the police, but before the police arrived, those breaking in had fled. Mauricio called his neighbor back to ask why and learned there was a very bright light that shined directly down on the men and scared them away.

Earlier in Mauricio’s life, he had an experience where he was shown the Kirtland Temple and he heard the people inside sing “The Spirit of God Like a Fire is Burning.” Somehow, with no knowledge of English, he was so affected by the experience that he was able to learn the hymn by heart, and he had drawn a picture of the Temple many times over.







Mauricio was instructed to get at least one man from Church of Christ Temple Lot and two others from the LDS and RLDS church. This was for the purpose of bearing witness to the truth of what was happening.

Of paramount importance now in God’s agenda is that the saints overcome their differences, and get the designated place for Zion ready for the return of Christ. Church of Christ Temple Lot, the RLDS and the LDS –all have strayed from the original spirit of truth, and they must return to it to be counted worthy. Mauricio draws an analogy between the three churches mentioned and the three trees planted on Mount Zion described in Isaiah 60: 13, 14. The fir, the pine and the box – “three trees that were planted together on Mount Zion to jointly adorn the place of the sanctuary of God”

Mauricio talks of pride, that stumbling block for all, and he says the different church leaders must put off that pride. They must attain the humility to admit to mistakes, errors, and sin. They must become who they say they are, the predecessors to the return of Christ, by redeeming the land of Zion. In 2010 Mauricio said seven years would have to pass before any of them could see clearly with “spiritual eyes” which at that time were “blindfolded.” The literal fulfillment of 2 Nephi: 24-30 (LDS) and 2 Nephi 12: 30-38 (RLDS) was happening. We must be careful of believing “all is well in Zion.”

In the spring of 2017, Mauricio sent an email to Joseph F. Smith, and that fall, Brother Joseph made his first trip to Brazil accompanied by Brother Bob Moore.



​

I watched most of Return of the Jedi and read a tad of The Force Awakens after The Last Jedi. Colt is at work. I work Saturday. Tomorrow morning before Colt goes to work at 3 PM CDT, we will likely go to the laundromat and finally try to get our laundry done done DUNNNNN. A number in your life can be a sign to you if you do not seek it but if you start following numbers they will inevitably start following you.

         Daily prognostication or horoscopes have two sides. The Divine ones done by Nostrodamus are fine but the Occultic ones you read in the Dailies you must avoid like the Plagueis.

Fortune cookie fortunes are a manifestation of the voice of a familiar spirit unless you KNOW God tells you to read it THEN he can speak to you through them, but you shouldn't seek it. If God doesn't TELL you to read a fortune in a fortune cookie, don't even touch it.


You should not seek signs but if God gives you a sign you had better pay attention.


      Because I was accused of not being in control of myself for bearing an unpopular message to the Pharisaical Sealed Book-denying and suppressing eyetested pastorate and ministry on Wednesday, the Pastorate called me today as I was walking home from work hi ho oh no, and basically censured me and was about to tell me that I would not be welcome at tomorrow's Communion service, and I angrily told him if he wanted to kick me out of his church fine and called him a Pharisee and he hung up. Further persecution came when I was on the PalTalk Group A Level Playing Field and a well connected Mod of the Mahan Order by his own admission (a few weeks ago or so he admitted it to me) threatened my life right there in public and I warned him on the mic in public that if he touches me or my family until the fourth generation God shall smite him. I was immediately muted.

I need to stop concerning myself with who the one is for me and be concerned for this year as Shane's angel commanded me. His angel promised me Satan would (not his exact words, my own way of putting it) throw plenty of lies my way. The old delusions are starting to come back thru my fantasies and if I'm not careful I could get caught up and carried away in them again. Even a dream that seems very godly can be delusional. But my Diaries and Journals stand as is, and there is no need for me to alter them anymore one iota, for I have altered them enough, almost beyond all recognition. Y'all and Gods already knows I suffered delusional thinking for months and went off on wild tangents due to my bipolar-schizzoaffective disorder psychoses and that I have been known to build up quite literal unhealthy fantasy worlds around my longtime obsession due to my unofficially diagnosed high spectrum autism.  Fortunately, God gave me a good mind to help combat these delusions, and when I give into it my mind goes to very dark and sometimes crazy and insane places especially without my medicine that corrects my chemical imbalances. To go back and make hundreds more changes once this is known is unneccessary at best, ludicrous at worst as my case is a good case study for our learned intelligentsia of psychiatrists and professional therapists and psychologists and psychoanalysts as well as the nonprofessionals like me who study such things and read or start to read books on the subject and need good case studies like mine, to analyze to their heart's content and further alterations would only serve to mess that thing up.

   When Colt presumably comes back from the store with two good subs for him and I, we shall continue to watch SW II Attack of The Clones then if he still agrees to watch it, The Holiday Special, then YouTube videos.

Yesterday, with his permission, I downloaded Pluto for him on his laptop (he wants to get a ChromeBook) and gave him a Bookmark for him to Pluto TV App on his Chrome Browser (I tried making him a Windows Desktop Pluto Shortcut but it did not show up on his homescreen), then I was about to watch 'Columbo' when he returned. Earlier than that, with his permission, I played and won a game of TriPeaks Solitaire on the 'easy' difficulty level after losing one 'Master' game that was Überdifficultisch.

Meinetwegen! I am so ferklempt to hab Colt here staying for now for now. He is sulch eine blessing su meine apartmensche. Oben Gott!


Today I taught Colt about the Three Covenants of the Bible, the Old Covenant (Genesis-Malachi), the New Testament in Christ's Blood (Matthew-Revelation) and the New Covenant (Book of Mormon) (Hebrews 8:8).

I also taught Colt that heretics chose what they wanted to believe against all that was written and taught and against common sense, and that a false prophet is not to be listened to, and was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, and that the Scripture says to beware of them.

Also God told me earlier that he is not taking Albion away from me or punishing me for spending time with amatur0w0, but pushing me into getting that 4 terabyte SSD External Drive I need before my Hard Drive plum runs out of memory and I become the proud owner of a $150.00 huge heavy paperweight with a mouse being the only thing still functioning (and my flash drives too, of course. Nothing else.)

Colt came home with a whole Italian Sub and Cool Ranch Doritos for him and a whole Turkey sub for me.  It is delicious. While he was away I started to listen to Origen's Agaist Celsus for a while but could take the blather no more so switched it to Clement's The Stromata and learned that Plato learned from the Hebrews, which thing astounded me for I don't recall perhaps that I ever knew that before, or had I once or twice heard it before but forgot it? Well, at any rate it was certainly a surprise and a shock (but in a good way) to me tonight). Just after I took that important note from Book one of that poetic Masterwork the Stromata, Colt returned with our food and I closed YouTube. During the video I made yet another attempt to read a little more of the novel of The Force Awakens but again to no avail. In Attack of the Clones, which generated a lot of discussion and conversation between Colt and I this evening, (and so does Paltalk when he listens in, which I heartily encourage), we are currently at the point when after the factory scene and gladiator arena scene, "Begun, the Clone War has."

Colt left the house, possibly for the night. I am going to Pastor Pete's church tomorrow morning.

Just as the gladiator scene was about to begin and I was about to make a third or fourth attempt to settle in and read The Force Awakens while it was on, Colt left and we'll finish the movie later or tomorrow or the next day, etc. Make plans, not promises, and prioritize. Promises should be rare and always kept- Holly McLean the mommy Answer Lady.

We'll finally get to the laundry when we need to.

 
Today was not a good day for it.
I'm going to run C-Cleaner and Clear my Caches on my Browsers, so my computer runs better and has more RAM and memory space; storage.

More JOY than ever ...





When I was young we drove for four hours to LA to pick up toys from the Salvation Army .



The second time I saw what I thought was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk but it bothered me Emotionally.





It bothered me that I couldn't do anything for him. I was bothered by it for a week.



I told mom and she came up with a solution. Do you remember who g!ve you each present ?



No.



Then I will get a brown paper bag and you can place one present into it. Then I shall take them to the salvation army for the less fortunate.





Oh GOOD . This we can really do.







My Heart selected one in the center of my scale of enjoyab8lity from least to most enjoyable.



My younger brother chose one from the least enjoyable end.



I thought oh I could have done likewise.



But my heart would not have it.



Weeks later a tone of joy hit my heart and I have to investigate this unexpected JOY.



It took me some time to determine it was from tha gift given away !



Wow, if there is that much Joy from the middle of my scale then what would happen from the TOP MOST ?



I WILL JUST HAVE TO GO THERE TO SEE !



IT TOOK ME FIVE YEARS .



I COULD SEE right away that it will be the one I want the most.



After I got there I checked out my heart every day but found no EXTRA JOY.



After I forgot the one I had given away ten tons of JOY hit my heart !!!



I had to find the source.



The instant I did the JOY WAS GONE !!!



Another week to forget before the JOY returned !!!



I so want that JOY back !!!

MONDAY

I was wrong the well-connected mod is caradeg not beowulf. But Today beowulf threatened another lady's life, telling her to run. The lady Beowulf threatened was a Jehovah's Witness. 

I downloaded the game RAID shadow legends on my phone.

I think Colt is at work. I'm at McDonald's updating my Diary from my phone about to ask my boss the GM for more hours.

Had God not been my help I would have found myself in dire straits at many junctures in my life.

Last night I updated my Truth and Light blogger blog.

I wrote some comments on an er o tic
blogger blog several weeks ago that I'm not proud of prompted by the devil.
I think that that blogger either abandoned her smut writing or died of Covid.

She started out as a believer.

I have been on PalTalk's chatroom A Level Playing Field all Day.

I gave Apostle Kent Pederson Shane's email address and told him Shane has been reading the Book of Mormon and desires Baptism.

I was wrong. National ID was not put on the backburner. It took the form of RealID, basically State ID's with a Gold Star in the RH corner to indicate they are National, which is why I lost my ID. Fortunately, my GM said I don't need a Real ID in order to work at McD's, only to fly. She'll call me if any extra hours are available for me. She told me there is no religious exemption protecting any employee of any company nationwide from Eyetest v.2.0. I told her I will find a way, whether I have to work and get paid under the table for people that don't require it or found my own company and (I did not say fight) fight for a religious exemption for my employees, or both. (I did not say both). I assured her I would become an entrepreneur. 

If I stop working, I will have to live at Rick's, Pastor Pete's or perhaps even Joy's, or God will possibly open some other door and I can (for now) live off of SSI and receive an allowance from whoever my payee is then. I am NOT leaving Zion. The angel assured me not to worry and to relax so my life nor soul is not in any danger so long as I keep trying but don't try too hard or overexert myself, and hold to Jesus. And those things ARE NOT complicated. We tend to make things too complex.

On Monday, January 09, 2022, Colt left and found himself a motel room to stay in with a swimming pool. I am so proud of him. He came back last night to get his shorts. I  warned him about RealID today when he came back to pick up some things and drop off my spare kees.


I'm watching Spaceballs and reading an article on willpower and self-control in Tomorrow's World Magazine. I listened to a disc of Catalyst: A Rogue One Story and watched the trailer for Book of Boba Fett Season 1 Episode 3. I'm really geeked for its premiere now.

Today, just now, I gave up porn and self-abuse and submitted to the Godhead.

I need to not be idle, to keep busy, to remember to get plenty of rest and eat right, which two things will strengthen my willpower and self-control in every area of my life, and if I increase my spiritual willpower and self-control in any area all areas are strengthened thereby. Also, I must learn to bridle my tongue, for he that bridleth his tongue is able to bridle his whole body.

The original languages of Scripture at least as we have them now both prove and disprove many many true doctrines and dogmas of God.
There are 100 pictures that disprove original Christianity yet it is true and pure.

When I'm tempted, do what Jesus did and pray! Don't just grit my teeth and try to push on through for it will fail every time! The bible is clear: "Pray that ye enter not into temptation". God will always, at least when the time is right if not that night (or day) make THE way of escape that I may be able to bear it, because the Book of Mormon Prophets have obtained that promise for the Worldwide Body of Christendom which promise Paul declared to us in the Bible.

I'm going to play Albion now. I'm off of PalTalk for the time being.


I will update my blogger blog first, then play RAID on my smartphone while playing Albion on my lappytop. (I am on my bed. Spaceballs is rolling end credits. I still need to eat a good supper. I need to take my pills and apple cider vinegar tab before all this. Getting up to do so. Amen)
