Not all threads are open to reply. There is a board for you to create your own threads called 'Journals'.

Sorry for the late reply. There are boards for keeping a public Journal on. Click on one of the boards and click on New Topic button at top right of screen.
To reply to a topic click on post reply at bottom right under last post.
