WEEK 30-DAY 6-DAY 5 OF THE WEEK-THURSDAY


On Wednesday, June 8, Dad, my Aunt Linda (who lives in a group home) and I – and also Linda’s staff, who took her home before the service ended – attended a “prayer and testimony service” at the Clio Community of Christ in Vienna Township. I got some free books and met Larry Judd, who I told about the JCRB and gave him two websites: www.conferenceofbranches.org and www.reorganizedchurch.org.

After the service Dad discussed the details of the coming memorial service with the “elders” who would be in charge.

My free books were Joseph Smith III’s Memoirs, Presidency and Priesthood by William H. Kelley, a book on Astronomy, and Between the Covers of the Book of Mormon by Verda E. Bryant. Larry offered me a book with Veazy’s stamp of approval promoting the CoC but I politely said I didn’t want it.

At 2:16 a.m. I got up and started writing about Grandma's memorial service on June 12, 2011. I wrote thus:



Grandma Sohlden's memorial service was Sunday, June 12 at the Clio CoC on Vienna Road. It was a beautiful, Spirit-filled service. Grandma's sister, my Dad, my sister and I, Elaine Hanners, Debbie Darr and at least one other relative of mine (Elaine and Debbie are not relatives but members of the Vienna Rd. CoC that I have known for years when they went to the Westwood Congregation) got behind the pulpit and shared memories.



...[Before the service] [or after?] I help set up a display of photos and journals of Grandma's which members of the family looked at. The Old, Old Path. Oh how I desire our whole family to join the Restoration glorious! Being exposed to the CoC is better than nothing.

After Dad took me to the library and I wrote in my journal I read from the Personal Writings of Joseph Smith, Jr. He truly translated the Book of Abraham. The Rosetta Stone had been discovered in 1822 but I'm not sure that's what he used. He was familiar with the translation of Egyptian. (Editor's Note: Although Joseph made a GAEL, or an Egyptian Character book, the vast majority of the Book of Abraham, after the first four or so verses, was translated by the gift and power of God. There were also holes in parts of the papyri that without the gift and power of God were untranslatable- B.L.S. 11/4/2015, 06/18/2016) Many RLDS reject the Book of Abraham. I do not. In 1835 Joseph mentions in his diary (at a time when he was translating the Egyptian records) that astronomy was unfolded to him.

I used to get a lot of information about "The story behind the story from Alex Jones, and still do a little [as of 2021, especially when bitchute and youtube truthers show clips fom him on their videos] until I learned that Jones is a paid actor, scaremonger, and CIA plant code-named Project Mockingbird.





Glenn Beck and John Hagee I like, but I do not put my trust in them, or any man.



Aber I have somewhat against Beck. He says that all “9-11 Truthers” are bad. Glenn believes in the Book of Mormon though, and he stands for Israel. I have obtained the book Behold A Pale Horse by Bill Cooper [Which I have since given to my friend Eric – 06/18/2016]. It mentions the Ancient and Mystical Order of Rosae Crusis and the Rosicrucians, which the CoC have been involved with since at least 1977. My Aunt was 17 in 1977. Grandma Sohlden threatened to divorce Grandpa Wil “When my Aunt turns 18” if Grandpa joined that secret combination, which the leadership of the RLDS was telling him would be a benefit to his priesthood. Grandpa was ordained a Priest in the RLDS Church in 1966. I don't know if he joined the Rosicrusians or not, but I found a Rosicrusian digest at his house after I moved in in 2009, as well as other related materials. I know that the Rosicrusians are a part of the Community of Christ because of a letter my Grandpa Wil wrote to his friend Greg Long, which I have lost. Greg Long left the church because the church's involvement with the Rosicrusians made him lose his faith in the RLDS, because at that time there were no Restoration Branches as an alternative to the hierarchical mother church, the first independent branch being formed in Independence, MO in 1984 because of women in the priesthood. Only males can perform the ordinances, though some women share priesthood with their husbands.

My eye appointment went very well. My pressure was less than last time and I give God the glory, honor and credit. Thank You so much Father. Amen.



Also on that day I went to the Genesee County Fair. I played games and won prizes at the midway, looked at farm animals, and went on a hayride with my work group. Thank You for the wonderful time I had Jesus! Amen.



I continued going once a year, even until 2013 and possibly after that.
