Re: DIARY 32-BRENT'S PURPLE PAISLEY DIARY

UNDATED, PUT UNDER JUNE

The worship (a lot different from STUDY) of knowledge, science, or technology is satanism in its purest form.-William Cooper, "Behold A Pale Horse", p. 70.

Worry is perverted imagination. Worry is pride.-Larry Hutton.

The Book of Mormon predicted the condition of men's churches to a tee. False, vain and foolish doctrines, men saying of their churches, I, I am the Lord's....but praise God for Isaiah 29, which says, They who murmured shall learn doctrine.

When all those Protestant groups who are not far from the Kingdom (not the church of Satan or churches built up to get gain or the praise of men) accept the Gospel in its fulness, they shall see eye to eye, as Joseph Smith, Jr. prophesied, "When the Lord brings again Zion."

In 2006, I went to a Reunion in Iowa. From there I traveled to a town in Iowa, driven by a Teacher (priesthood office) in the Church. In that town, I received my first Patriarchal Blessing.

The way to keep from being thrown off balance as we "search for truths now hidden" is to "live by those we hold" (Deam Ferris, The Hymnal, No. 290)

The spirit of inquiry must be kept alive in the church, but investigators should keep in touch with their sure foundation-Unknown source to me, p. 6 (114).

Faith comes by hearing, seeing and feeling. It can't be had for the asking. But it can be built up by teaching and proper feeding. -Ibid, p. 5 (113)

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent-John Hagee.

Our sure foundation is Jesus Christ! The Bible, Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants contain a portion of God's Word.

To give credit where credit is due, Glenn Beck kind of woke me up, but I've always known that something wasn't right, ever since I saw Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11. (The only good movie he's ever made) Alex Jones and Bill Cooper also deserve credit.

MONDAY

Today I went to the park, and played a game of HORSE (a basketball game) with three other people. It was fun. Shortly after I got home from work, I walked to the Library. I took Speaker for the Dead and A Divine Revelation of Heaven back, having finished them. I picked up the book Boundaries in Dating which was there for me to pick up, then I put a hold on Xenocide the third book in the Ender Wiggin series (actually I might have placed the hold before I picked up Boundaries), checked out three other books (two on Shakespeare, one on heresies in the world of religion called Top Secret) and finally went on the internet. While I was browsing the books a lady wanted to find a Bible with the books of Maccabees in it and I helped her find it. It was something I had checked out before, the New Jerusalem Bible.

Water baptism is not for those under 8, but Jesus can baptize spiritually born of God people of all ages in the Holy Spirit, though, this is not the measure of the Holy Ghost a man or woman gets when he is confirmed a Member of the Church at age 8, which is a much greater infilling or baptism. Tongues is not the greatest of the spiritual gifts.

SABBATH

Oh, Lord, new ideas and thoughts and words are racing at me at an incredible rate and I need your Divine help to sort them out! To know what is true and what is false. Please, Father, Lord Jesus, give me discernment. Had I not watched Ancient Secrets of the Bible concerning the Flood and also Kent Hovind’s series on Creation, Evolution and dinosaurs, I would be so deceived right now, thinking that there was a possibility that Elohim did not create every universe in existence, when Your Word says you are the Creator of all things that are created and made. There are intelligent beings on planets, for I know not of the Intelligent life in stars or suns. The Urantia book is false because it supports the Doctrine of Evolution and says things about the life of Jesus Christ which are false and never happened.

I do believe and I think always will believe in the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. They make perfect sense to me. However, the so-called “revelations” of James Strang and the “Book of the Law of the Lord” were denounced by Ian Cackler, a man whose opinions I value. He, after examining those writings, decried Strang as a false prophet. So Urantia Book No, Kybalion Yes and Strang writings No.

The Protestants, Pentecostals and Catholics have been given many insights but they also have many errors.

It was fun shopping at Sam’s Club today for work. A staff took us there so we could help her get food and supplies for Workshop. It wasn’t the first time I’ve gone. Later today I went to church.

I just read most of the Harbinger in the past two days, finishing it. It’s a very good book. Fact-based fiction, and very informative!

Mom (my step-mother) told me (in effect) that I should start reading my library books. I have finished two in the past few days: The Quest of the Missing Map-a Nancy Drew Mystery written in the 1940s during WWII unedited so it is a facsimile of the original, an excellent read and a page-turner, and The Harbinger, about 9/11’s relation to the Stock Market Crash of 2008 and ancient Israel.

Re: DIARY 32-BRENT'S PURPLE PAISLEY DIARY

WEDNESDAY

For the past two days I have cleaned upstairs. I have started going on the Hope of Zion message boards again. My Uncle Mark is on the message boards. I didn’t know that until after I got back on. The last time I spoke to Mark it was at my Aunt's, on the phone. He tried contacting me on Facebook after that but Dad wanted me to block him. He was informed on Facebook, temporarily unblocked by Dad, of his mother’s death in 2011. Last time I spoke to Mark, in 2011, I mentioned God’s work, the JCRB and the positive results of it. I also mentioned the JCRB on Hope of Zion yesterday. I always try to defend and promote the JCRB because I know that it is good. Mark is very passionate and is not much of a conversationalist, but rather a writer and speaker, and pretty good at both, but he is poor at letting others respond to him and responding back. He always thinks he knows better than his employers and writes letters to try to reform his various workplaces, which often gets him fired. I hope and pray that he doesn’t do that anymore. I hope that he is still working at the same job that he had a couple of years ago. I do hope that he has truly repented but know that this is unlikely.

In order to know he has truly repented I would have to see that he apologizes for the wrongs he has committed and pays his fine with the money he makes at his job. So far I have not heard these things. I could be mistaken but he may have tried to say them to me when he messaged me on Facebook before I blocked him. He said something about repentance. But once when I visited here from Missouri I was with Mark and he pretended to repent only to reveal that he had not. And Joy said to me once that Mark is not above murder. But I have great hopes for Mark that he may change so utterly that he’ll be literally a different person. I have prayed for Mark many times.

(I never did get my house clean. Poor Rene' my mom had to clean my house after my departure to Missouri. Dad wouldn't go in to help.)

Re: DIARY 32-BRENT'S PURPLE PAISLEY DIARY

SABBATH-SATURDAY

Jimmy Swaggart Ministries preaches the Gospel insofar as it is free from error and teaching of men. The RLDS preaches the Gospel in its fullness. That is the difference. I pray that Jimmy Swaggart Ministries one day aligns itself with the

RLDS, in Jesus’ name Amen.

Modern day Hermeticism, even the kind branded “Christian,” is totally corrupt. I don’t believe Hermes Trismegistus would approve of what today passes for

Hermeticism. Someone forged a letter pretending to be a leader of the early Mormons (pre-1844) that claimed Joseph Smith got the plates from a bearded white salamander.

This is obviously a parody of Quetzalcoatl, the bearded white God of the Mayans represented by a winged serpent, who was Christ. Many Hermeticists see Mormonism in

this dark “light” of witchcraft, Freemasonry and Polygamy. They believe the lies but also believe Joseph was a “Gnostic” Prophet. True Gnosis is light and truth. What is falsely called “Gnosticism” is what Paul was referring to when he spoke of “Science, falsely so called”. Science in its purest sense is true unadulterated knowledge. The seven Hermetic Principles, I’m sure when they were originally taught, were pure and did not go so far as to claim that an unregenerate person was one with the Father as Jesus was or that there

was no such thing as true good or true evil, but that they were equal because of the principles of polarity and vibration. If one of Hermes’ students would have spouted that nonsense, he/she surely would have been cast out.

So-called “Christian Hermeticism” of today starts with the forbidden (and demonic) knowledge of Tarot. And everything I saw on the two websites I checked out felt wrong. The third website was lies on Joseph Smith.

Re: DIARY 32-BRENT'S PURPLE PAISLEY DIARY

8/08-
THURSDAY-

I just came back from RLDS Reunion (Church camp) and it was so wonderful! God poured out His Spirit and blessings upon us and the Lord spoke to us twice by the mouth of two men, Seventy Royl Roden and Elder Jay Havener, truly humble men of God. I felt more at home there than I ever did here in Flint at my house. There was church services every day, classes, 4 baptisms, 4 confirmations, two administrations plus I got administered to also, and we all took communion (with grape juice, which we call wine--it is not fermented). There were lots of activities and I played with many of the kids various games, and played the piano in a talent show. My life has changed for the better because of going to that Reunion. I got there Tuesday afternoon and came home this afternoon. I slept in a tent most nights and slept in a cabin one night because my tent was leaking in the rain and it was wet.

In 2006 I went to a reunion also. I think I also went in 2007. This reunion was in Iowa.

There was a cross-shaped baptismal font, big enough to swim in. Our church doesn't believe in infant baptism but we feel immersion is required and you have to be at least 8-the age where you are responsible for your sins- and capable of repentance before you are baptized. My friend, who was much younger than me, named Heather, and a man got baptized one year. At the 2006 reunion Royl Roden was there too and also a man who was at this years reunion in Michigan named Francis Harper, an Elder. When he God spoke through him a little girl I know remarked that she saw God in that man. Also in 2006 Teacher (a priesthood office) drove me to a town in Iowa where a Patriarch-Evangelist laid his hands on me and gave me my Patriarchal Blessing. This blessing was recorded on a tape recorder and typed neatly and sent to me in the mail. In this blessing God told me that my life began at conception. But he didn't say it like that. He said, "God's Spirit has been with you ever since the day you were born." In a separate statement, it said that "by the choice of all the spirits that would dwell on this earth, my body was chosen to unite with my spirit at the moment I was conceived in the womb to live in this free country American to live out of the bondage of other people", to paraphrase. In last weeks' Great Lakes Reunion which I went, Royl Roden, Francis Harper and the Teacher who drove me to the town in Iowa all stayed in the same cabin and they prayed for me.

There is no gift greater than the gift of salvation. The second greatest gift of God to man, in my opinion, is free agency.

Re: DIARY 32-BRENT'S PURPLE PAISLEY DIARY

08/13-
TUESDAY

I feel wonderful! Today I learned a lot about spiritual discernment from some experiences I had during and after reading from Chapter 2 of RLDS Church History, Volume 3. I did some studying also today and wrote observations down. We (I) are (am) not to contend over belief or religious systems but to preach Christ and Him crucified! During Reunion I shared with rather than debated with at least two people, John, a Seventh Day Adventist, and Steve, a Catholic/Free Methodist. I sought to listen much more than try to shove my religion down their throats, which I didn’t do at all, only I shared with them my faith with carefulness and soberness while letting them share their beliefs with me.

I must not let another day go by where I don’t practice love.

At Reunion, it was fun to sing in the choir! It was a new skill I learned as I did it. Brother Todd is an extremely good music and choir director! I met him before, when I went to the joint Algonac/Another Branch Service at the Algonac Restoration Branch a few years ago. Seventy Ron taught me how to sing a different part than him as we sung a hymn several months ago, so I believe that helped prepare me for choir singing. I chose to sing in the choir because at Reunion Iowa in 2007 or 2006 the choir director there tested me and told me I had a tenor voice. She asked if I wanted to join the choir, and I declined. This was to make up for that, plus I had a lot of fun and was able to blend my voice with the rest of the choirs’ to minister to

the congregation. We practiced four days and sang in regular services two days, two different songs, the second longer and more complex than the first. The first was Take

My Life And Let It Be and the second was Seek First the Kingdom of God.

How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell

together in unity! That was what Reunion was like. It was like Zion!

The pastor of the local church I attend now knows I’m RLDS. I told him privately. He says he doesn’t think less of me because of it. I cleaned the bathroom today in preparation for the pastor coming over.

, Calvinists! Some of them think that God only loves the world system and not everyone in the world! This is because the Geek word Cosmos is used in John 3:16 for World. That is so twisted! They wrest the Scriptures! They think He loves some more than He loves others. No! God’s love is unconditional! His ‘prevenient’ grace is to all men. God calls all men to repentance! All have the potential to repent.

Even Paul the Apostle could have chosen to resist Jesus! If he had, he would be in hell right now. This was confirmed to me by Elder Doug today as we talked on the way to and from a Restoration Branch. Doug picked me up at my house this morning and took me to church, then took me to Subway for lunch and his house briefly to change and pick up his dog, then he dropped me off here. Praise You, Thank You and Bless You O Most Holy Father and for Shane coming over now as I write this. Amen!
