MONDAY
I finally got the book Visions of Glory! It’s wonderful! I am on pg. 34. So much to take in!
Man can never be God or higher than God. Some Utah Mormons think man can become “all that God is and more” but this is blasphemy. The author of Visions of Glory says we are born gods (small ‘g’) but even Joseph Smith and the Bible agree with that. (According to Joseph Smith, Jr. man in his exalted state is just as exalted as the Father is. However, we can never take his place or do all that he does or be responsible for all that he is responsible for, nor can He ever do all that we can do. Those lines never cross. Lucifer aspired to exalt his throne ABOVE his God, which is why he became satan.-Brent Koivopolo V, 07/27/2021 AD 4:31 PM CDT)
It is my understanding that we are under a greater light than the Utah Mormons (as God told Joseph III out of the whirlwind) but I know God can speak to them just as he can speak to us and all men who will listen.
The Utah Mormons have only as much authority as Jimmy Swaggart and other commissioned Protestants. However, the Utah Mormons stand in a greater light than them, but the RLDS stands in a much greater light than both.
Seek for light and truth wherever it may be found is a divine injunction to the Church. The former President of the Utah Mormons, David O. McKay, said this:
“Every person who lives in this world radiates light, which affects and influences every other person in the world. Our choices in life determine what we really are. The radiance of the light that emanates from our countenance is determined by the choices we make, and is a powerful force in human relationships. And every person is the recipient of that radiation. The Savior was conscious of that reality; and to a degree so are we.”
Well that is the first part of his statement. I can’t put the rest presently, circumstances as they are. I was using the nets on Dad’s phone and can’t cut and paste from there to here, so I had to type it manually.

Here is the rest:
Whenever Jesus came into the presence of an individual He was conscious of a light emanating from that person’s soul, and which was mirrored in his countenance. He knew the behavior and conduct, and the choices a person had made because that behavior and those choices were reflected by the radiating light in one’s countenance. My dear brothers and sisters, we must make nobler choices. We must not encourage vile thoughts or low aspirations. We shall radiate them if we do. Every moment of life we are affecting, to a degree, the life of every other person with whom we may come in contact, and who comes within the sphere of our influence.
Every person is affecting every other person who lives. We cannot for one moment escape this emanation, this radiation of light that emanates from our countenance. Life is a constant state of radiation and absorption of light. To exist is to radiate light; to exist is to be the recipient of light. And we choose the qualities we permit to be radiated by the light within us, determined by our behavior, and by the choices we make.”

TUESDAY
The other day I woke up with a terrible cold. Later I laid my hands upon my head and called on the “Great Hot God of Heaven” to burn away the sickness inside me. I have felt so much better since then!
God can travel to any time in the past, present or future, because all time is present with Him. He will share this ability, although limited in its scope, with His children.

Praise God for the LDS, which has preserved so much for us that the RLDS has abandoned.
Isaiah Chapter 11 speaks of the root, stem and rod of Jesse. To this day I am still not quite sure of their literal interpretation.
I shall let the Prophet interpret this one, when it is time.
[This year Maggie showed up in my life. I saw her at the store I had formerly preached at, now working there as I shopped, and she came right up to me and I turned my back on her and said 'Welp'. She was likely already married with kids at the time.]

UNDATED, PUT UNDER JULY
I ran into Maggie Savoie at Meijer on Pierson Rd, which they later tore down, and she came right up to me angrily, and I thought that she was still mad at me for stalking her in Grade School, and instead of telling her how sorry I was for all that and everything else and parting on good terms, I turned my back on her, saying, Welp. Not another word was said. This happened by the store's entertainment section. As the days of this encounter went on I actively tried avoiding her. I found all the old feelings came back, but then I lost sight of her and buried my feelings and she didn't really come to mind again for years afterward.

UNDATED, PROBABLY SPRING, 2014
I have been training my dog using tips from YouTube on the internet and from Cesar Milan on TV. Buster seems happier today, happier today, happier than he's been in a long time.

MONDAY
When Shane went to a picnic with me, after the sermon he told me he wasn’t sure he was saved. I knew he had accepted Christ and his burdens had been lifted, had witnessed it, so I told him the truth, that salvation was a process. After we got out of the barn his doubts started taking over and he started even doubting the resurrection. We had a discussion about experiences we had had and I tried convincing him of their reality. (Many of which experiences were false, and salvation is a process, despite what the RLDS traditionalists think, and salvation and conversion are also incremental serieses of personal crises. No wonder he was doubting; I was not speaking according to the truth.-B.L.S. 8/12/19 2:38:10 PM CST, 07/27/2021 AD 6:12 CDT)
We also discussed it riding with Mom on the way to his home, then Mom drove me to my home. The next day Shane sent me at least three texts. One was luv you too, because I had told him, love you, brother the previous day. Another was ‘Okay i believe that jesus did die for our sins and rise from the dead. No more dobts from now on.’ Also I asked him if he was reading Acts and Moroni (as I had suggested to him earlier), telling him I was on Moroni 6 and Acts 7. He texted that he had finished Moroni and he was on Acts 14. I was astonied.
Henry Kissinger said on March 1, 1973: “The emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union is not an objective of American foreign policy. And if they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern. Maybe a humanitarian concern.”

FRIDAY
Transcript of part of a text conversation between Shane and I today:
Me: “…..I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 16 and I was baptized at 22. Both are a kind of salvation. There are three. The last one is being saved at the end. conversion is almost the same thing as salvation but usually only happens once”
Shane: “Really.”
Me: “That’s what I believe. You don’t have to take my word for it. Study it out for yourself and ask God if it is true.”
(Later)
Shane: “Okay”
(8.7.14)There is more to it than that. (7.27.21) Conversion, like conviction and salvation, can happen many times during a person's life.

SUNDAY
Today Seventy Ron, Shane and I had another cottage meeting. After Ron and I took Communion, which Shane observed, Ron taught Shane about the Reformation, Seventy, baptism and the Holy Spirit and answered Shane’s questions about authority and laying on of hands. We closed and opened with prayer. Then Ron answered a concern Mom wanted me to take to him about something I did yesterday.
Ron is willing to come here more often if Shane is willing to commit to it.

THURSDAY
Today, at a cookout at a Protestant church, after a long pause, not knowing what to say, I told him, “I don’t want everyone to know this, but I’m a Latter Day Saint.”
He said “What kind?”
I said “Reorganized”
. He said “What branch ….Vienna Rd, Bristol Rd. etc… (which are Community of Christ congregations)”
I replied “Not Community of Christ, Restoration Branch Movement.”
He then told me over the course of our ensuing conversation that he had been baptized sometime in the sixties. I told him when I had been baptized and about the JCRB and gave him Seventy Ron’s phone number and the JCRB website. I mentioned how the JCRB was rebuilding the church from the bottom up and was going to take care of the leadership issue, and “the future of the church will be exciting” and “the church is alive” &c.
